Don't know what bike...

Holy shartski! 27 entries in the 50+ Ironman class....I just emailed them about a late entry/ cancellation void.. not sure why?

This event was cancelled on June 1, 2020 for WuFlu.

I hear things got interesting this year (2021).

Any participants care to tell a few stories?

It was wet. Flash floods about 7 hours in just about killed a few people so they threw the checkers. I'm not sure what the official rain accumulations were but I've heard anywhere from 4-7 inches in 24 hours. 7 inches might be an exaggeration but it was certainly more than the 2 they called for.

even if I had survived the event, I highly doubt the bike would have. I'll be back next year!

Was there even a small brook or stream there before?
All that water doesn't necessarily mean a dam or something gave way. If there are hills/ mountains in that area they will collect large volumes of run-off quickly.

So for 22 it’s being moved to Seneca highlands. I know there were a couple club events there. Can anyone recommend a tire choice? May go with the old mt16/me59..
