Big boy chassis setup tricks ??????

So I am setting up a 2019 CRF450L for some enduro and hare scramble events this year and I was looking for any tips and or tricks on big boy chassis or suspension mods or tricks.

The bike is valved IMO very well from OEM and I have re sprung the rear of the bike only. This was under the direction of a well known knowledgeable suspension tuner. Front springs remain at a .51kg and rear is now at 6.3kg, the bike compressed and rebounds very even and in stock trim used all the rear travel and only 85% of the front. This was under aggressive sand whoop conditions.

I weigh 289 without gear, anyone have any additional tips or tricks for a big boy on chassis tunning ? Sag ? Fork height in triple clamps etc ???

For NETRA conditions, suspension tuning is critical and sand whoops are probably less than 5 percent of what we see. Recommend that you find a short, rocky, rooty loop and ride it multiple times making only one clicker change per loop. That's the best way to get it dialed.

I'm big and tall but not as heavy as you. What's most critical for me is bike layout. I'm 6'4" and I have long limbs. I run the tallest seat that I can buy and low, flat bars in the forward position. Yes, low not tall bars. This goes against what most guys think but getting the bars further from me is very helpful when in the attack position.

Yes definitely will dial it in In the woods. I mentioned the sand/whoops because for me that’s pretty brutal on suspension travel and the front springs didn’t bottom.
I think I may have met you at Delsestos last summer....
