headed down to Gettysburg area to ride the TPAT northbound

it was snowing as the bikes were loaded
ran into some more of the white stuff en route..
weather said "38 degrees, feels like 28 degrees"
that seemed accurate

made it there and thawed in time for sunset over the battlefields.
with all the cannons on display, we couldn't resist a shot of our own 'big guns'

did the hotel thing and woke to a chilly morning

warmed up nicely and we were treated to miles and miles of dirt roads and 2-track.
even the paved sections were fun and twisty

camped in Bald Eagle State Park and headed out the next day

stopped for lunch on the way home which turned out to be just enough time for the storms to catch up and follow us for the final 2.5 hours home.

highly recommended weekend trip though.
some real fun (and fast) roads and 2-track ..
a little dust here and there but overall the conditions of the roads were great.

good times.
do it.

very nice ride report. There is another nearby route that starts in Winchester VA and rides down the Shenandoah ridge area all the way to Marion VA.

Where did you find the file for this route?
I wanted a rich uncle, but I got an Uncle Rich.

That looks like a great trip. I'll have to make time for that next season.
