Incase you didn't see it over in Events we're (SRCR) preparing the farm for our upcoming race. Make sure your brakes are working well as we plan to have a ton of field sections for you to clean out those rides from being idle most of 2020. :biggrin

Sooo who is coming and what are you racing?

We put about 1000 stakes in over the weekend. Still have one field to lay out and stake and the grass track to layout/mow. Should be 5ish miles and a fair amount is field. Get those brakes working well!!

I haven't decided yet. 125, 200, 250, 490. Depends on which one starts I guess. :biggrin

Well thanks to Trail Boss Tom Accomazzo and the Salmon River County Riders, great course and well-run event. 51 entries for a Vintage race, that's a near-record. I had some adventures on the Husky, but I saw the checkered flag and that's success in my book.

So glad I didn't miss this one! Thanks Tom and Company for a great ride.
Figured I had brought a knife to a gunfight with my choice of machinery but the little blade did just fine as long as I kept it twisted putting the "S" in Beg, Borrow and Steal Racing.

That was my first HS since 1980 and I had a blast. Great course for a season opener, I loved the mix of woods and open grass track. Met a lot of friendly people and some old friends. I look forward to hitting more of these on my trusty KDX. Well done Tom and crew.

Thanks all for coming. What a great day and it was great to see you all again. Saturday was a treat for sure as we don't get many days like that let alone courses like that so I'm glad you had fun!

Can't thank the land owners and club members including Raf and his Polish Off Road racing team enough for the extra hands and the back back field with the stonewall jump was all them. I'm glad it is over but we are scouting trails for 2022. :)

Nice to see the New England vintage crew again. Awesome course Sat.-reminded me of KPTR's old Double Days HS track. Hats off to the Club and salute to the landowner. Next time, I'll bring a slower bike so I can go faster.

That was a fun time - even working it ! The landowners are great folks - I chatted with them at length, just good people. It was also great being able to catch up with folks i haven’t seen in a long time !
