Cleaning house, I found this honda spring. It came off a older CR or XR, not sure which. I used it to lower a 86 cr125 for ice racing.
Dimensions: L = 10-1/8" ID top = 2-1/4" ID bottom = 2-3/8" OD top/ bottom = 3-1/4" wire dia = 7/16". I don't know the rate. $20 if someone needs it.

I think these shocks are from a TT500. KYB.
One shock is missing the top spring collar.
Anyone have a spare?

Looking for a piston and pipe for my '83 Husqvarna 175 WR. This was a one year only bike and while many of the parts a easy to find, the pipe and piston are almost impossible to locate, if there are any at all. I've gone to all the usually sources and beyond, no luck. Thanks. Mike S.

Hi Mike, yeah you have to get creative with this one year bike. I would email HVA Factory in England. They may lead you in the right direction. Also, cafehusky.com if there's anyone left on there.
Facebook has a Husky owners page with mostly guys from Sweden so they may help you out.
Networking is key but there's one out there just have to hunt.

Try FredHVA79 at Husky cafe. He said he made some a few years back?

Other choice could be convert it to a 125 or swap to a 250 motor. :omg:

You could also fit a piston from something else...
Bore diameter, Wrist Pin Diameter, Distance from Wrist Pin to Crown and Ring End Pin location(s) are important things to know.
If you call Wiseco and happen to get the right guy on the phone, you could end up with something that will work.

In my 15 minute google search there was a guy looking to swap rods, develop a spacer and then run the Yamaha piston. Lot of work for a motor they said was OK but behind the IT/PE and KDX in power in a big bike chassis.

Mike,

Have you tried Jake Fischer for the Husky piston - his number is (724) 586-7383. You may also want to ask him about the pipe as well. He is my go to guy for hard to find Husky stuff. I attempted to PM this info to you but it may not have reached you.

Thanks,

Kevin
