Well it's not a dirt bike but it's Vintage..and it's been on my lift for almost 2 years

need to finish this this winter.... so the CR can get ready for spring...

Just about finished restoring Guy Cooper's 91 Factory Works RM250 but that isn't on the lift anymore, it is in my bedroom now. Lol

I'm working to have the 79 YZ400 ready for the banquet and would like to have the 81 CR250 back together also but I'm running out of time. I'll try to start some build threads shortly.

Angela says the yellow brings out the color of our bedspread. Lol. Cora (my 2 year old daughter) gives the RM a hug and kiss every night before she goes to bed. Lol

My final 81 490...takin this one to the grave (unless someone makes a good offer!!!) ..90% new or NOS, including trick new reed cylinder, NOS cases and clutch cover. Hope the pic is attached

Whats on the lift? Another rotten filthy old heap of Land Rover in a long line of similar experiences lol.

I've been thinking about how I can show up at a race with a vintage bike on the back of an appropriate vintage Land Rover. Sort of like doubling down on a bet against myself!.

Well finally decided what my winter project will be. I have bones hanging around for 3 different projects but decided on an early (1-12) 72 Penton Six Day, that had been down for the count for way too long. Got the bike from a cousin about 10 years ago and I am 99% sure it was his ride for the 72 Berkshire. Anyway, I had been searching for a rod kit for it forever and finally found one so the build begins New Years Eve. Going for as close to stock as possible on this one and seeing it will be a bike for my wife I will try and do a "pretty" build. Can't wait to get started.

I had a buddy who had one brand new in 80. Great little bike. At the time I had an XR 200 and we traded one day and I didn't want to trade back!

I do have a pickup bodied rig but will probably hitch haul behind a station wagon so I have a nice changing room etc.

My 73 penton jackpiner. It's almost done now. Ready for the vintage series next year.
