Hey Ya'll,

I want to use my NETRA transponder for backyard practice. I thought it might be a fun quarentine project.

Can someone point me to where I can buy the antenna NETRA uses for the timing gates? I think I can do the rest.

You could probably build your own if you have electronics knowledge and if you know the signal specs. There's lots of antenna design info on the interwebs.

Looks like it's just a power over ethernet UHF transciever. I have a little software defined radio here so we'll sweep the frequencies next to the helmet and see what bounces back. Thanks ya'll!

I like how you use the word "just" as though 'Pffft, any monkey can do that!'

After "transceiver" the only word that I understand is "helmet".

Ah just experience! We're essential up here and have a big delivery coming up so Anna and I haven't touched it yet but I'll post some pictures of how we scan to find what frequency the RFID sticker likes to bounce back when we get there.

Hey ya'll,

I made a bunch of progress on this - I'll post something soon.

I'm going to upload the code on github and the parts list too if you want to make one for your private loop.
