This is continuation of the cylinder replating thread from just got my YZ cyl back from Powerseal after welding, replate and hone. They also put a nice finish on the hole thing - looks like new. One of the cuts in the cyl required the welding. Overall looks great! I posted a pick on my FB page.

How much did it cost you to have the job done?

I have spare cylinder for my "vintage" race bike and it needs re-plating.

Thanks !

I can give a thumbs up for Powerseal, Bother mysel on my 09 250 xcw, and my buddies 08 450 exc were sent to powerseal. The service was quick, and the cylinders were returned to us in perfect condition.

Same here with my experience. Plus a couple of those guys race the ECEA enduro series, and they know vintage stuff too.
