No Hoot Owl Turkey Run, bummer or is it now being called the Tri-State Trot?
Also is the Ammo only a one day event now or is it still a two day 9-8/9-9?

You know that's our hare scramble right? You should come to more meetings. Not just the ones with free food. :biggrin

Sorry, the Pathfinders are tired from having so much fun we pared our work load back this year. We did four NETRA events all on different weekends last season (<--not smart) We also maintain the Dam and maintain our club's camp-n-ride spot. PLUS many of us race. That doesn't leave many Summer weekends open. It's a lot to ask of our members, so we swore to only do two events in 2018 and do some more club riding. :beer

Don't worry, we'll be back! MAFA!

Is the Tuxedo Ridge a NETRA/AMA sanctioned hare scramble? I ask because it's listed on the AMA East hare scramble series.

I think it's real. I may have been dozing off at the meeting but I remember that there was a conflict on Sunday...

Yeah, we pared back on the events this year. 5 events last year burnt the club out. We're going to ride our dirt bikes this year. :biggrin

So why would you not do the Dam race since you maintain it?..it would just seem to make sense. Correct me if I’m wrong..

Because we have a new spot for a hare scramble where we have a lot less restrictions (parking, camping, permits, etc). Plus why make more work for the club? It sometimes takes 3-4 work parties to restore the damaged trails at the Dam.

Because variety is the spice of life!!! The dam will still be there in the future.
